Established in 1985 through a technical collaboration with ETS Lescuyer SA, France, ALP began manufacturing EPDM weatherstrips in India. In 1996, the company entered into a joint venture with Nishikawa Rubber Company, Japan, and was renamed ALP Nishikawa.
Today, ALP Nishikawa is among India’s leading manufacturers of EPDM, TPE, and PVC weatherstrips and sealing systems. It operates as a 50:50 joint venture with Nishikawa Rubber Co. (NRC), Japan—a global leader in the sealing industry with operations across Japan, the USA, India, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Mexico.
With a government-approved R&D center and strong design capabilities, ALP Nishikawa delivers comprehensive sealing solutions that meet global standards at competitive costs. The company is a trusted partner to all leading automotive OEMs in India, supplying high-performance sealing systems for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
