ALP Nishikawa’s R&D Centre in Lalru, Punjab, is government-recognized. All research and testing activities are conducted there—from raw materials (such as polymers, carbon process oil, etc.) through to final parts—while adhering to global testing standards.
With superior internal testing capabilities, we conduct most tests in-house. Remaining tests are carried out by accredited external laboratories (NABL, or as per ISO/IEC 17025:2005), or using facilities of our joint venture partner, Nishikawa Rubber Company of Japan.
ALP Nishikawa’s 26 Member R&D Team is equipped with highly Educated, experienced & trained personnels to ensure best quality results.
Design and Development hold primary importance for focused and assisted growth at ALP Nishikawa. To support this, we have an ultra-modern design & development centre with proprietary methodologies for optimal reinforcement of structures, digital design, and manufacturing of reinforced rubber products.
Our design capabilities include the use of advanced software such as Creo Parametric (Pro/E), CATIA, Abaqus, Hypermesh, AutoCAD, among others, alongside facilities for testing and validation. The company strives for new product development, improvement of existing products, formulation of novel rubber materials, and cost reduction through adopting advanced technologies and enhanced design capabilities.
ALP Nishikawa operates as a fully self-sufficient organization. The company’s strict control over all subsidiary processes is central to delivering optimal quality products. We have set up a modern tool room to support the preparation of cavities and moulds. It is equipped with the latest vertical milling centres and EDM machines.
Innovation is the source of value creation at ALP Nishikawa. The Innovation Management (IM) program at ANCO integrates formal education, ongoing research, and industrial practice to equip our managers to sustain superior business performance and meet customer needs. In practice, successful innovation requires cross-functional collaboration across multiple disciplines.
Because of the challenges associated with spanning traditional functional boundaries and interfacing across disciplines, effective management of the innovation process is a key driver of success. The backbone of the IM program at ANCO is its emphasis on cross-functional, end-to-end product development and the integrated systems perspective needed to conceive, create, launch, and support innovative solutions in rubber and plastic weather shields for the automobile, body-building, and non-automotive sectors.
